Every spring, TBTR invites Winnipeg to Wine & Words, an event dedicated to celebrating writing, reading, and yes, wine!

Since its first production in 2010, Wine & Words has celebrated the written works of Canadian musicians, playwrights, poets, playwrights, authors, and storytellers. At the event, local actors and celebrities present dramatized readings of never-before-published works of local authors to help fundraise for the company’s season.

On March 20th, Audience members witnessed a juried selection of never-before-published work – excerpts of short stories, poetry, music, a scene from a play, a piece of prose, and a few choice performances by local slam poets and comedians.
