“Featuring work by 16 artists in a wide variety of craft media: Willy Carleton, Jan Hall, Tim Haughian, Takashi Iwasaki, Dana Kletke, Shawna Munro, Crystal Nykoluk, Keith Oliver, Kelli Rey, Sonja Rosenberg, Kelly Ruth, Hilary Smith, Diana Thorneycroft, Peter Tittenberger, Tricia Wasney, and Melanie Wesley.
As the title suggests, S/M/L is an exhibition of small craft works. Creativity and playfulness in interpreting the theme were encouraged; humour, puns, and general silliness have ensued. Psychic interventions – voices from the afterlife and predictions for the future – were also welcome. S/M/L challenged artists to synthesize and compress their ideas and explorations, offering concentrated pieces that speak of bigger things.”
