Mustang Helicopters lift some heavy H-Vac and cables to the roof of the Richardson building.

Much cheaper than building a tall crane, and also does not require shutting down a street for a week or so.
CBC has some communications equipment on the roof which needs an upgrade to the cooling system. Thats what this equipment is for.
There used to be a Helipad on the roof of the Richardson building, but in the late 1970’s they figured it would be better to rent the space out for telecommunications towers and such.
It is getting harder and harder to get approval from all levels of Government to do a job like this.
In the future using a helicopter to lift heavy equipment in a built up urban environment may simply not be allowed.
