We aimed to produce some artistic images with the assistance of Monica’s Danz Gym and Momentum Aerial & Acrobatic Troupe.

 So I packed up the studio flashes and we did some dance photos with fabric, and hoop and some jumping around.

I wanted to do something similar to what Lois Greenfield was doing with dancers frozen in mid air.

Now that I have done it once, I am full of ideas and solutions for how to take more exciting dance art photography.

The plan was to make something worthy of hanging on a wall, and I think we succeeded.

A selection of these photos will appear in a calendar Monica is putting together for 2012, and 8×10, 11×14 limited edition prints will be for sale.
