Maison des Artistes – Art Opening : April 2, 2026

La Maison des artistes, Winnipeg

“comme à la (m)aison

25th Anniversary Exhibition

On July 11, 2001, La Maison des artistes opened its doors for its first exhibition. For 25 years, La Maison has been more than just an exhibition space; it has been a refuge. A space where artists can create, experiment, fail, and start again. A safe place that encourages boldness. Comme à la (m)aison is a group exhibition rooted in this fundamental idea: what does it mean to be “at home”?

Inhabiting a home also means welcoming. Celebrating this anniversary is a means to open the door, widen the symbolic walls of the gallery. This exhibition is an invitation to cross the threshold, recognize what connects us, and to imagine other ways of being together. After 25 years, La Maison is still alive, a space that opens up, again and always, towards the other.” from:
