Lumières noires

Think you’ve heard everything?  How about the vocal styles of a fictional culture, or the undefinable boundaries of a 3-dimensional musical space? GroundSwell is pleased to bring two celebrated Swedish musicians, Jonny Axelsson (percussion) and Fredrik Söhngen (oboe) to Winnipeg to collaborate with local musicians Allen Harrington, Oleg Pokhanovski, and Sarah Jo Kirsch for a rare performance.  Lumières noires offers wild virtuoso instrumental and vocal performances fused with electronic sounds to create unique and evocative musical soundscapes.  from http://gswell.ca
