JAMES O’CALLAGHAN hits the books in his novel composition Reasons, composed for library books and live electronics / DAVID STOREN’s new instrument, the SOUND BRUSH integrates sound and light / JEFF STONEHOUSE and SARAH ALBU perform Kate Soper’s Only the Words Themselves Mean What They Say / a show-stopping collaborative improv featuring PARAMIRABO and The Gritty’s SARAH KIRSCH / improv sets by MOMA and LORI FREEDMAN.
Martin Böttger lives and works in Berlin and Kassel, Germany. The main focus of his work is visual arts: 3D animations (generative and interactive), club visuals, video installation, audio-video performances, sculptures and installations. His work encompasses such ideas as time, space, deformation, deconstruction, rearrangement, layering, distortion, tensions, relations, harmony, mass and swarm structuring-clustering.

“Who is Lori Freedman?
I am a Montreal-based musician. Freelance, independent. Meaning, I wear a few hats. I am a performer who plays music for contrabass, bass, A, B-flat, C and E-flat clarinets. I play written and improvised music, ranging in settings from orchestra, concerti, chamber ensemble and solo. I also write concert music, music for dance, film and theatre. I perform in all of these arenas both live on stage and in the recording studio. As well as touring extensively I teach contemporary and improvised music for all instruments. One of my most frequent habits is playing music with my band Ensemble Transmission (see the Links page), a sextet that contains flute, clarinet, violin, cello, percussion and piano.”
