NÚ VEFUM VIÐ MJÚKA, OG DÝRINDIS DÚKA

The Vefarinn Folk Dance group from Akureyri was formed in 2004.

This performance in Gimli Manitoba Canada was their first show outside of Iceland.

The Icelandic men wore wool touques and the Women wore tasselled caps

 

Icelandic traditional clothing. Men wore long wool socks. Women wore striped aprons.
